Order online in 3 steps!
Step 1: Stallion reservation
A stallion reservation is made per mare and is valid for one breeding season, from early March until the end of August. Upon reservation, we will ask you to provide the mare’s details (such as name, studbook, and identification) in order to complete the registration and planning for the season.
Step 2: Ordering fresh semen
Ordering semen (Step 2) is only possible after a stallion reservation has been completed (Step 1).
During the breeding season, fresh semen can be ordered multiple times as needed, depending on the mare’s cycle and breeding management. Orders should be placed in time and in accordance with our ordering conditions to ensure optimal quality and availability.
Semen can be collected by appointment or shipped to the provided delivery address.
Step 3: Pregnancy fee
The pregnancy fee becomes payable once the mare is officially confirmed pregnant at 12 weeks
The mare owner is kindly requested to return the insemination certificate or declaration within 12 weeks after the last insemination, stating whether the mare is in foal or not.
If the mare is not in foal, a statement issued by a veterinarian must be enclosed.
If it is not reported that the mare is not in foal, the pregnancy fee will automatically be charged.
FAQ
How long is the breedingseason?
The breeding season runs from early March through the end of August. Within this period, the reserved stallion can be used, subject to availability and in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions. All orders and inseminations must take place within this timeframe.
What if my mare is not pregnant?
The success rate with our stallions is very high; however, if it does not succeed, you may try again in the following breeding season without the need to make a new reservation. You may also choose to change stallions or try again with a different mare.
What if my mare loses the pregnancy after the breeding season?
If a mare loses the pregnancy after the breeding season, you may breed her again in the following breeding season without the need to make a new reservation or pay a pregnancy fee.
Can I bring my mare to be bred?
No, this is not possible. We can send the semen to your home so that your veterinarian can inseminate your mare, or we can ship it directly to your veterinarian.
Is there a discount available for multiple mares?
Yes, that is certainly possible. If you breed a second mare in the same season, we offer a 10% discount on the pregnancy fee. From the third mare onwards, you will receive a 15% discount.
