About me

My name is Donaat Brondeel, born and raised in Aalter, Belgium. I started riding at a very young age, combining dressage and showjumping from the moment I could sit on a horse. By the age of seven, I was already competing at regional level throughout Belgium.

Education & Professional Background

I studied Movement and Sports Sciences at the University of Ghent, where I graduated with a Master’s degree in Sport Training and Coaching. During my studies, I also obtained the highest Belgian qualification: Trainer A Showjumping, awarded by the Belgian Equestrian Federation.

In addition, I gained valuable hands-on experience during an intensive period at Henk Nooren’s stables in the Netherlands, where I developed a professional and structured approach to training horses and riders.

Sport Highlights

Together with my brother, I took over our family’s Breemeersen Studfarm, focusing on the development of talented young stallions. Our most notable stallion, Adorado, progressed from young horse classes to the highest international level.
Key achievements include:

Multiple medals at Belgian and World Championships for Young Horses
Selection for the Belgian National Team
Victory at CSIO Lisbon
Podium finishes at CSIO Lummen and CSIO Copenhagen

Developing Adorado from a two-year-old stallion into a top-level Nations Cup horse remains one of our proudest accomplishments.

Vision & Mission

Today, my focus lies in the systematic development of young sport horses with the long-term goal of international performance. Alongside this, I enjoy coaching motivated riders who want to improve in a thoughtful, structured, and sustainable way.

My mission is clear:
to share knowledge and practical experience so riders can train their horses with understanding, respect, and purpose. Whether you are starting out, preparing for competition, or aiming to grow as a coach, we are here to help you take the next step.

Donaat has produced horses from the very beginning of their career all the way to international Nations Cup teams, giving him the insight to guide every step of the training process.
